February	A weekend in Santa Monica	We went to visit an art exhibit called Ashes and Snow
July	We bought a house!	We just bought a house. Escrow closes on July 28th. These pictures are from the MLS, so that's not our furniture!
August	Wildlife in our new backyard	Our new house has been quite the treat of nature! We've had several coyote sightings (and lots of coyote howling), we've seen dozens of bunnies and a family of quail. We also have spiders and mice and ants... oh my!
October	Idyllwild	For our first anniversay, we spent a long weekend up in Idyllwild. We both needed the break BADLY... and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We stayed in a cute cabin called The Hobbit House, we hiked, we shopped, we ate, we drank (hey, it was our anniversary!)
October	Pumpkin Carving	This year we decided to have a pumpkin carving party with the family. It was great fun - but silly Grandma forgot to get a picture of the finished products (apparently!). They were really awesome.
November	Thanksgiving	We had a great Thanksgiving this year. Dawn, Lilly, Robin & Jesse all helped put together a FABULOUS meal. Grandma must be getting senile, because again she didn't get a picture of dinner... or the afterglow when we were all too stuffed to move!
December	Christmas Tree Trimming	We had another tree trimming party this year... where we make the kids do all the work while the adults sit back and relax! The kids spent most of the evening in the spa until we dragged them out and made them work for their supper! Ariel and Bastian brought friends to help so it was trimmed in record time.
December	Christmas	This year we spent Christmas Eve at Dawn's house. The kids opened presents from us and Dustin 'cause we weren't going to be there Christmas Day. On Christmas Day, Robin and George came over for presents and dinner.
