July	Alex's birthday	In this family, there's always a reason to get together and eat! In July, we celebrated Alex's birthday at Coyote Grill in Carlsbad. First, Dave & I took Alex on a little shopping spree before dinner. Sebastian came along to help. Then, dinner, dessert, and fun.
August	Sebastian's birthday	The whole family got together to celebrate Sebastian's birthday. Festivities included miniature golf, go-cart races, water sports and dinner at a Japanese restaurant.
Sept	Laguna Beach	Dave & I took a short overnight vacation in Laguna Beach in September, on the way back from a visit to my dad's.
Sept/Oct	Kent Family Photos	We had a couple of mini Kent-family reunions this year. Here are some pictures.
Nov	Thanksgiving	Dave & I spent Thanksgiving at Pat Kent's house, along with Rachael, Matt, Jesse, my dad & Marge.
Dec	Christmas	Dad & Marge came down to visit for a weekend just before Christmas and helped me and Jesse trim the tree. I never knew you could squeeze so many ornaments on a tree until I let Marge loose on it. It was awesome! Dave & I spent Christmas morning at his daughter's house so that we could watch the grandkids open their presents. Then we went back to my house to open presents with Robin & George - and enjoy a fantastic feast that we all helped prepare.
